Wythe County Community Hospital in Wytheville, Virginia seeks an experienced General Surgeon for an independent, broad-scope community hospital practice. The role includes bread-and-butter general surgery, endoscopy and colonoscopy, GI bleed management, and acute surgical care.

You will practice independently while collaborating with hospital leadership and clinical teams, contribute to expanding local surgical capabilities, and may perform robotic surgery.

Qualifications

• Provide broad-scope general surgical care in a community hospital.
• Perform endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
• Manage gastrointestinal bleeding cases.
• Evaluate and treat acute surgical cases.
• Practice independently while collaborating with hospital leadership and clinical teams.
