Job summary

APEX Investigation is seeking a Surveillance Investigator to perform stationary and mobile surveillance in California, gathering intelligence and producing detailed reports for clients.

Earn $22–$28 per hour with target yearly earnings of $60,000–$74,000, plus monthly bonuses up to $300 and mileage reimbursement. Expect paid travel time with potential overnight travel and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Ownership or access to a discreet, reliable vehicle.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and overnight travel as needed.
• Ability to work 40-50 hours per week, starting 5:00-7:00 AM.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong and confident driving skills.
• Valid credit card for reimbursable travel and gas expenses.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Proficiency with a Windows laptop.

Responsibilities

• Perform discreet stationary and mobile surveillance using your own vehicle.
• Capture high-quality video footage meeting court standards.
• Submit accurate, timely case reports via the online case management system.
• Analyze case details to define objectives and verify information like addresses, phone numbers, and vehicle descriptions.
• Maintain communication with management for real-time updates.
