You control your schedule and territory, managing routing and deadlines. This 1099 role pays a flat rate per inspection, with typical earnings reflecting $25–$35 per hour in productive days.

Qualifications

• Independent contractor role; provide own equipment (vehicle, smartphone, computer, printer).
• Own reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.
• Smartphone capable of running mobile reporting apps.
• Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
• Ability to pass a standard background check.

Responsibilities

• Determine property occupancy status based on industry-standard indicators.
• Capture 9+ photos and submit brief reports using industry-standard mobile applications.
