Job summary

FAR Inspections is seeking independent contractors to perform residential occupancy verifications in Callahan County, Texas. You will drive your own vehicle, manage routing, and report findings using mobile apps.

This 1099 role offers per-inspection pay with an earnings potential of about $25–$35 per hour, depending on volume and county. Typical inspections are brief, 5–6 minutes on-site, with autonomy over schedule and territory.

Qualifications

• Independent contractor responsible for providing own equipment (vehicle, smartphone, computer with internet and printer).
• Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle and ability to pass a standard background check.
• Smartphone capable of running mobile reporting apps.
• Computer with internet connection and a printer.
• Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Determine property occupancy status based on industry-standard indicators.
• Capture 9+ photos and submit brief reports using industry-standard mobile applications.
