Job summary

FAR Inspections is actively seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in Alleghany County, Virginia and surrounding communities. You will manage your own routing and schedule, earning the per-inspection pay which equates to about $25–$35 per hour as you complete occupancy verifications.

As a 1099 contractor, you must provide your own equipment (vehicle, smartphone, laptop, printer) and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Independent contractor status with 1099 payment structure.
• Ability to pass a standard background check.
• Own equipment including reliable vehicle, smartphone, computer with internet, and printer.

Responsibilities

• Determine property occupancy status based on industry indicators.
• Capture 9+ photos and submit concise reports using mobile apps.
• Maintain territory coverage and meet deadlines with reliable routing and scheduling.
