Job summary

Ccms- is seeking 1099 Auto & Heavy Equipment Appraisers to perform field inspections and generate detailed estimates using CCC One. This independent contractor position requires a SC Auto Appraiser License and at least 1 year of related experience, with travel to inspection sites as needed.

You will communicate with adjusters and insurers to support claims processing, while delivering professional, accurate reports in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• SC Auto Appraiser license required.
• 1+ year experience in auto/heavy equipment appraisals.
• Independent contractor status.
• CCC One familiarity for estimates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and appraisals of autos, trucks, construction equipment, and specialty vehicles.
• Prepare accurate estimates using CCC One.
• Evaluate repair costs, total loss, and salvage values per carrier guidelines.
• Communicate with adjusters, insurers, and repair facilities.
• Maintain professional, customer‑facing interactions with policyholders and partners.
• Submit comprehensive reports timely and maintain compliance.
