Job summary

The IMA Group seeks a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist to conduct independent eye examinations focused on vision loss and visual impairment. Work from an IMA location or your own private practice if you have the required equipment; this is an evaluation-only role with no treatment or on-call duties.

Compensation is approximately $75 per completed evaluation, with potential to complete multiple evaluations per hour depending on case complexity. Active NY license required.

Qualifications

• OD, MD, or DO with an Ophthalmology specialty and active NY license.
• Board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
• Perform visual acuity, visual field, and related testing.
• Review medical history and documentation.
• Prepare objective, accurate medical reports.
