Job summary

Nomad Global Communication Solutions is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer II to design, develop, and support embedded hardware and firmware for the Nomad Total Command (NTC) platform and other Nomad products.

You will collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, IT, and Human Factors teams to deliver deterministic, real‑time control systems, write C/C++ firmware, and validate hardware interfaces in Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience working in Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support embedded hardware and firmware for NTC and other Nomad platforms.
• Develop firmware and control logic using C/C++ for microcontrollers and embedded processors.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and networking interfaces used by the NTC platform.
• Work within Linux-based environments, including containerized environments (Docker).
• Participate in design reviews and cross-functional collaboration to ensure robust system design.
