Job summary

Unmanned Safety Institute, Inc. is seeking drone pilots in North Carolina for residential and commercial building inspections. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position paid per inspection.

You must have an FAA Part 107 license and your own drone, capable of documenting with a high‑quality camera. Duties include coordinating with dispatch and property owners, scheduling and conducting inspections, and returning inspection data via our reporting software.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient with LAANC (AirMap or Kittyhawk) and obtain Airspace Authorizations.
• Active FAA Part 107 UAV license, driver’s license, and liability insurance.
• Must own a drone with 1080p camera and be able to operate in less-than-ideal conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform roof, elevation, and interior/exterior inspections.
• Coordinate with dispatch and property owners; schedule inspections.
• Complete inspections and return data via reporting software; present professionally.
