Job summary

Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) in St. Johnsbury, VT is seeking a skilled CRNA to join an all-CRNA anesthesia team in a supportive, community-focused setting.

You will provide comprehensive anesthesia care across a broad patient population and participate in ongoing quality initiatives, with autonomy in an independent care model. The role offers a balanced schedule, diverse caseload, and a mission-driven environment in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Graduation from COA-accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Current NBCRNA certification.
• Vermont APRN license (or eligibility).
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Current DEA registration.
• Ability to meet call requirements (live within 30 minutes).
• Commitment to high-quality, compassionate rural care.
• Passion for rural healthcare and serving a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across inpatient and outpatient settings per AANA/NVRH standards.
• Deliver anesthesia services for a wide range of procedures including General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, and more.
• Perform regional anesthesia and maintain clinical competency, documentation accuracy, and participation in peer review and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while supporting departmental operations, committees, scheduling, equipment review, and technology integration.
