Job summary

Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital in Grand Rapids, MN is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Anesthesiology team in an independent CRNA practice environment.

You will provide comprehensive anesthesia care across general, OB/GYN, orthopedics, urology, and endoscopy, with ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and obstetric anesthesia.

This 1.0 FTE day/evening schedule offers a collaborative, integrated clinic-hospital setting within a Level III Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
• Current NBCRNA certification or recertification.
• Current Minnesota APRN licensure or ability to obtain.
• Current Minnesota RN licensure, as applicable.
• Ability to meet Grand Itasca Medical Staff credentialing and privileging requirements.
• BLS, ACLS, and other clinical privileges certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthetic patient evaluations.
• Select appropriate anesthetic agents and techniques.
• Insert intravenous catheters and invasive monitoring catheters.
• Perform endotracheal intubation and extubation.
• Perform ultrasound-guided regional nerve blocks.
• Provide postoperative monitoring and care in perioperative period.
