Job summary

UVA Health’s University Medical Center is expanding Perioperative Services and seeks Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to support extended-hour operating room coverage, weekend elective programs, and sustained OR growth across multiple surgical sites.

CRNAs practice within a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team model with meaningful independence in anesthesia delivery and decision-making, in a high-acuity academic environment.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or eligible to practice as a CRNA in Virginia.
• No experience required.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia; CRNA in Virginia required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across main OR high-acuity and trauma settings.
• Support weekend program and extended-hour coverage as part of a high-autonomy team.
• Collaborate within a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team model to deliver safe anesthesia.
• Participate in outreach to off-site and non-OR locations as needed.
