Job summary

Ameriship Parcel Delivery is seeking independent contractor couriers in the Houston area. You will pick up and deliver packages to residential and business addresses using your own vehicle.

The role requires use of handheld devices and a focus on customer service. Hours are Monday through Friday with routes typically completed by 7pm; drivers must own a reliable vehicle and pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess valid driver's license.
• Own reliable vehicle; some routes require larger vehicle such as cargo/sprinter, or a large SUV.
• Must pass a drug screening and background verification.
• Must be able to drive Mon-Fri; routes completed by 7pm.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages to residential and business addresses.
• Use handheld devices to assist with each delivery.
• Drive your own vehicle to complete the daily route.
• Demonstrate punctuality, reliability and customer service during deliveries.
• Typical workday is 7–10 hours.
