Job summary

Courier Express is seeking independent contractor couriers with their own vehicle for Monday–Friday last mile delivery routes in the North Charleston area.

Drivers operate as independent contractors with flexible schedules and weekly settlements. Must be 18+ with a valid license, a good driving record, and the ability to pass a drug screen and background check. A smartphone is required and vehicle insurance is specified.

Qualifications

• Must own a vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.
• 18+ years old with a clean driving record.
• Pass drug screening and felony background check.
• Must own a smartphone (Android or iPhone).
• Ability to lift and carry packages of varying sizes and weights.
• Auto insurance: 100k/300k/50k for vehicles under 10k lbs GVWR (BIPD).
• Vehicle insurance requirements apply for independent contractors.

Responsibilities

• Operate as an independent contractor courier with your own vehicle.
• Perform last mile delivery routes on Monday–Friday.
• Attend to deliveries with punctuality and accuracy; 7 days a week work may be available.
• Receive weekly settlements for delivered routes.
