Job summary

Ameriship Parcel Delivery is hiring delivery drivers in Wheeling, IL, and surrounding areas. This independent contractor role requires you to use your own vehicle to deliver packages to homes and businesses. Workdays are Monday–Friday with routes typically ending by early evening.

Prior courier experience is preferred, but not required. Compensation ranges weekly from $600 to $1,200, with flexibility for full- or part-time arrangements.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have up-to-date vehicle insurance.
• Must own a reliable vehicle.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass a background verification.
• No DUI or DWI within the last 10 years.
• Available Monday through Friday and complete routes by 7pm.
• Occasional pickup shifts between 4:30pm and 7pm when scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages safely and on time.
• Deliver to residential and business locations.
• Use personal vehicle for daily delivery routes.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules.
• Use handheld devices and smartphone apps for deliveries.
• Complete routes before the expected end time.
• Handle evening pickups when scheduled.
• Communicate with dispatch when needed.
• Follow company delivery procedures and safety rules.
• Keep packages secure during transportation.
• Maintain punctuality and reliability every workday.
