Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Melbourne, FL seeks a Psychiatrist for outpatient clinic as an Independent Contractor. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose and treat patients across ages, provide medication management and brief psychotherapy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

You may work in-person or via telehealth with flexible hours and 50% telemedicine option, including potential fully remote work with a collaborating physician.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO.
• Board eligibility or board certification in psychiatry.
• Active Florida license or pursuing licensure in Florida.
• Residents in final year may apply.

Responsabilités

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients.
• Provide medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (psychiatrists, social workers, etc.).
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and families about mental health and treatment options.
• Document services in accordance with company policies.
• Stay current with advancements in psychiatry through continuing education.
