Job summary

Highlands Logistics is seeking reliable drivers to join our team in West Sacramento, CA. We welcome applicants even without a CDL, provided you have a strong work ethic and the right attitude.

Required: at least 2 years of verified driving experience, a current DOT medical card, pre-employment drug screening, and ability to pass a road test. We offer direct deposit, an assigned driver manager, consistent miles, and mostly no-touch freight, with stop-and-short-haul pay.

• Ability to pass a road test and perform load/unload duties.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight and perform pre-trip inspections.

• Must be at least 2 years of verified experience
• Driving record must be current, within that last 30 days, must have no more than three (3) violations within the past 24 months. No more than two (2) violations within the past 12 months, including no DUI/DWI or Reckless driving violations within the last 5 years.
• Must be able to pass a D.O.T physical, pre-employment drug screen and road test.
• Must provide valid names, addresses, and previous verification.
• Must be able to perform all duties required to load and unload freight, perform pre-trip inspections and over the road inspections.
