Job summary

Alexander's Mobility Services is seeking Independent Contractor drivers in Nashville to handle deliveries and pick-ups, drive equipment to and from job sites, and ensure items arrive safely.

Applicants must hold a valid Class A or B license, have a clean motor vehicle record, and pass background and drug screenings. Expect 40–50 hour weeks with overtime as needed and outdoor/indoor work in all weather.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Class A or B License.
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings.
• Ability to lift and move loads up to 150 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.

Responsibilities

• Drive equipment to and from job sites.
• Load/move cartons or furniture to/from moving vans.
• Complete and submit documentation to Safety and Operations.
• Communicate with crew leaders, crew members, and customers.
• Adhere to Federal Carrier Safety Regulations and company standards.
• Inspect and clean trucks, tools and equipment.
• Wrap and secure loads and protect property.
• Wear the company uniform and maintain professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
