Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Board-qualified Post Doctoral Clinical Psychologist for outpatient services as an independent contractor. The role offers flexible hours with top telehealth support and in-person options at our clinics.

The position involves comprehensive psychological assessments, neuropsychological testing if desired, and psychotherapy across various modalities.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in clinical psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.).
• Experience in neurocognitive and neuropsychological testing preferred.
• No license required for candidate.
• Outpatient setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
• Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Provide neuropsychological and neurocognitive testing services (Optional).
• Option to provide psychotherapy & counseling services only, neuropsychological testing only, or a combination of both services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions, neuropsychological findings, and therapeutic strategies.
• Provide documentation of the services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Stay current with advancements in psychology and neuropsychology through continuing education and professional development.
• Work under supervision of a fully licensed psychologist.
