Job summary

Velocity Staffing seeks skilled automotive technicians to join our full-service shop in Georgetown, KY. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, working both independently and with peers to keep customers on the road.

The role covers brakes, steering, tires, heating/cooling, and engine diagnostics, using lifts, alignment machines, and scan tools. A safety-focused mindset and reliable tools are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree is a plus.
• State-specific auto repair certifications required or preferred.
• Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics using onboard computer systems.
• Carry out tire repair and replacement.
• Repair heating and air conditioning systems.
• Inspect steering, suspension, brakes, and engine components.
• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance.
• Utilize lift, alignment, and other shop equipment safely.
• Complete visual safety inspections and ensure customer courtesy.
