Job summary

Matrix Providers Inc. is seeking licensed Audiologists to join our provider network as independent contractors to perform disability examinations for Veterans.

The role requires AuD or equivalent degrees and an active state license, with compensation of $70-$76 per hour. You will evaluate patients, review medical and military records, conduct examinations, and provide expert medical opinions to support Veterans’ disability claims.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Audiology (AuD) or equivalent.
• Masters of Audiology (M.A.) or Master’s of Science (M.S.) in Audiology.
• Audiology of Speech Language Pathology Degree (PHD).
• Master's in Communication Disorders (MCD), Doctor of Education in Audiology (Ed.D).
• An active and unrestricted license in the state in which exams are performed.
• Previous disability exam experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Clinician assesses, evaluates and diagnoses audiology conditions for Veterans.
• As an independent contractor, apply expertise to support Veterans’ disability claims through records review, interviews and face-to-face examinations.
• Develop medical opinions regarding likelihood of service-related conditions and ensure timely, thorough exam reports.
