A successful candidate stays current on industry best practices and completes required trainings.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current yoga instructor certification from a nationally recognized organization.
• Have current certification for adult First Aid/CPR/AED.
• 1+ year of related experience teaching yoga classes preferred.
• Ability to plan and lead classes for varying skill levels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and fun environment for participants.
• Plan and lead yoga classes appropriate for varying skill levels.
• Demonstrate proper techniques including breathing, alignment, balance, flexibility, strength and relaxation.
• Provide customer service to FitWell members.
• Maintain equipment, classrooms, and storage areas in a clean, organized manner.
• Monitor participants to ensure proper form and injury prevention.
• Follow FitWell policies and attend required trainings and meetings.
• Support other duties as assigned by management.
