Job summary

Science Museum of Minnesota is seeking a Learning and Instruction Specialist in the Center for STEM Education. You will develop and deliver inclusive STEM learning experiences for school, youth, family, and adult audiences, while leading educator professional development and collaborating across the museum.

Position emphasizes equity, evidence-based pedagogy, and cross-department collaboration to expand reach from local to national audiences.

Qualifications

• Documented ability to design and deliver professional development programs for adult learners/educators.
• Applied knowledge of age appropriate content and pedagogy for preschool, school age and family audiences.
• Demonstrated knowledge of STEM equity and inclusion best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver CSE programs for school audiences (K-5) in large and small groups, in person and virtual.
• Develop and deliver CSE programs for youth, family, and adult audiences, including educator workshops and resources.
• Collaborate across divisions to improve CSE programs and document best practices.
• Incorporate equity and inclusion strategies to ensure accessible learning experiences.
