Sheridan County YMCA is seeking energetic fitness instructors to lead diverse group classes including Power Up, Strength Based Evening Classes, Group Cycling, and Yoga. You’ll create a welcoming environment, adapt workouts for all abilities, and build a sense of community among members.

You will also educate on healthy living and help maintain safety and class attendance. This role requires completion of YMCA certifications within 90 days, including CPR and First Aid.

Qualifications

• Lead safe, fun group fitness classes across multiple formats.
• Create a welcoming environment for all backgrounds and abilities.
• Modify exercises for different fitness levels and health needs.
• Build relationships with members and foster community.
• Educate participants on healthy living within scope of practice.
• Track attendance and maintain a safe exercise environment.
• Respond to emergencies and follow YMCA policies.
