Job summary

Schulze Elementary School in Irving, Texas is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a Resource/Inclusion assignment for the 26-27 school year. The teacher will report to the Campus Principal and support students with diverse learning needs in core academic areas.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate with Elementary-level eligibility; Reading Academy completion and ESL certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and valid Texas teaching certificate required.
• Completion of Texas Reading Academy required for Elementary.
• ESL Supplemental Certification preferred.
• Minimum one year of student teaching or approved internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum plans for the assigned elementary subjects.
• Present material according to TEA guidelines and district policies.

• Collaborate with staff to set instructional goals and supervise aides/volunteers.
