Job summary

Tharp Consulting in the United States seeks a Manager, Incident Response to lead cyber incident response activities within our advisory practice. You will oversee triage, containment, eradication, and recovery for client security incidents, coordinating with legal, forensics, privacy, and leadership teams.

The role requires five+ years in incident response, strong communication with executives, and hands-on experience with SIEM/EDR/DLP. Visa sponsorship is not available, and U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in cybersecurity incident response or cyber threat management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degrees preferred.
• Proven ability to lead investigations, manage escalations, and apply frameworks like NIST or SANS.
• Hands-on expertise with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, DLP, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, including engaging with senior executives.
• High integrity, professionalism, and judgment in handling sensitive matters.
• Authorization to work in the U.S; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
