Job summary

Twitch is seeking a Security Incident Response Engineer to join our SIRT. You will help find, handle, and learn from security incidents across our global platform, coordinating response with cross-functional teams.

Based in Irvine, CA you will implement AI/ML-driven playbooks, improve procedures, and drive lessons learned to reduce recurrence while collaborating with security peers and leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant information security experience or BS in a related field.
• Automation using scripting or programming languages (Go, Python, Ruby, Shell, or Perl).
• Ability to design AI/ML-driven playbooks to automate security operations.
• Experience coordinating responses to security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-call rotation with peers on the SIRT.
• Qualify reports or alerts of activity as security incidents.
• Evaluate impact of security incidents to Twitch.
• Analyze threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Coordinate incident response with affected teams.
