Job summary

Databricks is seeking an experienced Incident Response professional to join the IR team. You will respond to high-priority security incidents, perform forensics, and contribute to automations on our security platform.

You will operate in a 24x7 on-call model, triage alerts, and lead technical discussions while mentoring junior responders. Qualifications include a current US Secret clearance eligibility (Top Secret preferred), 7+ years in IR (or 5+ with a Master's), and cloud security expertise

Qualifications

Active or current US GOV Secret clearance eligibility; Top Secret preferred.
Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years experience in Incident Response, or Master's Degree and 5+ years.
Cloud security expertise in at least one of AWS, GCP or Azure; proficiency in the others.

Responsibilities

Respond to security incidents as part of a distributed 24x7 operations and on-call schedule.
Triage and respond to security events and alerts; contain incidents quickly and effectively.
Conduct forensics across data sources to determine timeline and impact of security events.
Develop autonomous capabilities and AI-assisted security tooling to scale IR.
Communicate decisions through docs and tech talks; mentor junior responders.
