Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Incident Response & Management Specialist for a banking client to mature incident response capabilities and safeguard critical operations.

The role partners with technology, risk, and executive stakeholders to plan, document, and test incident response plans, crisis management procedures, and governance. Certifications are desirable; strong communication and leadership are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in incident management, incident response, or risk disciplines.
• Experience developing and updating incident response plans and crisis procedures.
• Strong documentation and process-development skills.
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
• Understanding business-critical apps, processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication, including senior leaders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited oversight.
• Familiarity with FFIEC/NIST or equivalent frameworks.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow and GRC tools is preferred.
• Experience leading tabletop exercises or incident readiness assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead tabletop exercises and crisis simulations.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks.
• Coordinate incident response across technology, risk, and ops.
• Collaborate with executives to mature governance and readiness.
• Document processes and ensure regulatory alignment.
