Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, D.C. is seeking an experienced Senior Incident Response Analyst to respond to cybersecurity incidents and proactively prevent their recurrence.

You will apply functional knowledge to resolve incidents and work with government clients to improve IR processes. Responsibilities include analyzing complex threats, coordinating with auditors, drafting clear reports, QAing team submissions, and maintaining Public Trust eligibility as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of incident response experience.
• Experience responding to an APT or FIN actor and cloud threats in IR.
• Professional demeanor when working with clients.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender EDR.
• Knowledge of SOC best practices.
• Ability to work with government staff to suggest and implement process improvements and work with auditors to respond to and resolve identified issues in IR processes.
• Ability to author clear and robust reports and review and ensure QA of team member submissions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Senior level Incident Response Certification.
