Job summary

SBWI is seeking skilled craftspeople to handle the more complex builds of our kitchen designs in Traverse City, MI. You will work on hood vents, banquets, hutches, mantels, wood beams, and wood tops.

Between these projects you will assist in cabinet production and assembly, using shop tools during regular hours. We offer a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive $20–$24/hour pay, biweekly payroll, paid holidays, and PTO after probation.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex carpentry and custom cabinetry.
• Ability to read shop drawings and follow project specs.

Responsibilities

• Build hood vents, banquets, hutches, mantels, wood beams, and wood tops for kitchen designs.
• Assist in cabinet production and assembly as needed.

Number of positions currently available: 1-2

Pay Rate: $20 - $24/hr (biweekly pay period), depending on skill/experience

Work week: Monday-Friday

Paid Holidays: Christmas, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, New Years Day

Paid Time Off (PTO): rewarded after probationary period
