Description

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, recommending, implementing, and maintaining compensation programs, policies, and procedures that support the achievement of company objectives. This includes managing compensation plans for internal departments (business development, recruiting, leadership) and client teams as required.

You will deliver fair, innovative, competitive, and performance-driven compensation solutions across the organization. Responsibilities include program analysis, creation, maintenance, administration, data analysis, and reporting, along with providing professional and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as the primary contact and subject matter expert for incentive compensation (IC) services, including design, requirements gathering, documentation, timeline development, quality control, and administrative coordination.
  2. Produce clear narratives, documents, and visualizations (charts, dashboards) to communicate measurement plans, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  3. Develop and maintain project documentation, including scope documents.
  4. Lead the design of IC initiatives.
  5. Process information and data to create reports on incentive plan performance and improvements.
  6. Train leadership and business partners on incentive plans.
  7. Meet with management to establish and review performance metrics.
  8. Prepare workflow diagrams describing input, output, and operations.
  9. Perform other projects as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, power pivot).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with incentive compensation platforms (Varicent, Xactly, Oracle SPM, SAP, Anaplan, etc.).
  • Database query skills (e.g., Microsoft Access, SQL).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Ability to create professional reports and visual materials.
  • Strong facilitation, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of how compensation issues impact other departments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, finance, psychology, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in incentive compensation.
  • Strong data and financial analysis skills; advanced MS Office skills.
  • Mandatory previous experience with compensation reporting.
