Job summary

Arvato Bertelsmann in the United States is seeking an Inbound Team Lead to manage day-to-day shipping operations for incoming goods and related paperwork. You will track performance, supervise staff, and ensure safety, organization, and timely recovery plans for at-risk targets.

The role requires hands-on experience with RF, conveyors, and WMS, plus strong coordination with control tower, inventory, transportation, and inbound teams to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years' experience in shipping or logistics.
• Experience in a fast-paced distribution center environment.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Basic safety knowledge applicable to warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day shipping operations and paperwork for incoming goods.
• Track performance and attendance for the shipping team.
• Coordinate with control tower, inventory, transportation, inbound, and outbound teams to meet targets.
• Identify risks of missed targets and escalate to supervisors.
• Develop recovery plans for at-risk targets with supervision.
• Communicate exceptions to the account team (e.g., inbound damage).
• Maintain daily efficiency reports and identify improvement areas.
• Monitor consumables levels and create SAP requisitions as needed.
• Lead and mentor personnel in a professional manner.
