Job summary

The San Francisco Bay Region Network seeks an accomplished, strategic Chief Operating Officer to serve as the inaugural executive, driving operational excellence across finance, human resources, and information technology for Sonoma State University, San Francisco State University, and CSU East Bay.

The COO reports to the presidents of the three member universities and leads on-site California operations with travel among campuses.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in strategic operations leadership at a university or large complex organization.
• Experience overseeing finance, HR, or IT functions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead network-wide operational strategy and cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with university presidents and campus leaders.
• Oversee staff empowerment and service delivery across three campuses.
