Job summary

Mindlance's In Vivo Pharmacology group in South San Francisco seeks a motivated individual to support hands-on in vivo studies for evaluating novel agents. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to perform in vivo experiments, collect samples, and help coordinate study delivery.

Requirements include a high school diploma or associates/bachelor in biology or related fields, 1+ year of mice work, strong documentation skills, and adherence to GLP/FDA/USDA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associates/bachelor in biology, toxicology, pharmacology or related disciplines, and at least 1+ year experience with mice.
• Must be a team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Enthusiastic to learn new techniques and troubleshoot/improve as needed.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist team members on tasks to support in vivo studies.
• Perform mouse handling, dosing via IV/IP/SC/PO, and tissue/blood collection.
• Collect data including tumor measurements, body weight, and health observations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate study data.
• Comply with GLP, FDA, USDA regulations and safety protocols.
• Adhere to corporate safety standards for hazardous/biological materials and controlled drugs.
• Be available for flexible hours including weekends; shift can include weekdays and weekends.
• Prefer experience in small animal tumor biology and rodent surgery when possible.
