Vertex is offering a 6-month Integrated Pharmacology Co‑op for students pursuing advanced degrees in pharmacology or biological sciences. The role involves in vivo/in vitro studies, data analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration within a fast‑paced research setting.

The program runs January through June 2027 with a $25–50 USD/hour pay range and on-site work. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States, be enrolled in an advanced degree program, and available full‑time.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and execution of in vivo and ex vivo pharmacology studies under guidance.
• Work toward independently conducting experiments using established SOPs and study protocols.
• Apply literature-based methods and optimize protocols to meet experimental needs.
• Maintain accurate experimental records, including methods, data, and conclusions.
• Prepare scientific summaries, figures, and presentations for project teams.
