Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits is seeking a Merchandiser II in Sarasota, Florida. The role focuses on merchandising activities, creating displays, and ensuring product presentation across key retail accounts as directed by the Sales Team.

You will support Sales Reps by ordering products, expediting deliveries as needed, and maintaining stock on shelves. A valid driver's license and 21+ age are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of merchandising or related experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto liability insurance as per state laws.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain merchandising/display materials for all products.
• Position merchandise and create a customer-ready selling floor.
• Ensure store appearance aligns with plans and new receipts.
• Consult with buyers, marketing, and sellers on product positioning.
• Place product orders on behalf of the Sales Rep in a timely manner.
• Service local stores and refill displays to keep products stocked.
• Install and manage store displays and exhibits.
• Reset alcoholic beverages at store level according to plan.
• Introduce new products and monitor in-store promotion results.
• Stay informed on market conditions and opportunities within each account.
