Job summary

Best Buy, a leading consumer electronics retailer, seeks a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for customers seeking technology support at our Fredericksburg store. You will assess needs, perform basic services and partner with other agents on more complex repairs.

You will provide friendly, timely service, understand issues with precise questions, and offer guidance on repairing or replacing devices. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
