Job summary

Intuit seeks a Licensed Tax Accountant to provide expert in-store tax preparation and advisory services to individuals and small businesses at our Morristown location. You'll use Intuit's platforms to prepare and file returns, maximize deductions, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

You will work face-to-face with clients, review financial documents, explain tax outcomes, and recommend Intuit solutions that support their financial goals.

Qualifications

• Licensed tax professional with ability to prepare individual returns (1040) and schedules.
• Experience with small business and self-employed tax filings.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes.
• Proficient with tax software (TurboTax, ProSeries, Lacerte).
• Attention to data accuracy and secure filing.
• Ability to explain tax outcomes to clients and suggest solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person tax preparation and filing services for individuals and small businesses.
