Job summary

Hallmark Cards is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to work in various retail stores, independently managing product placement and inventory while serving as the face of Hallmark.

You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize placement, support seasonal resets, and handle installations when needed. This role emphasizes organization, time management, and retailer relationship building.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Operate a digital hand-held device to access documents and information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have reliable transportation to travel to stores as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day engagement: restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within the department using a mobile device; maintain display and communicate with supervisor.
• Holiday support: extended hours and extra days around major holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
• Department resets: assist with installations, fixture setups, relocations, and remodels; plan two weeks in advance when notified.
• One Team Vision: collaborate with a network of merchandisers to support colleagues in other territories.
