Job summary

Circle K is seeking a full-time Store Associate in Hooksett, NH (86 W River Rd, Hooksett, NH 03106) to ensure accurate deliveries, stock merchandise, and maintain appealing displays. You will deliver friendly, prompt customer service and help train new staff as needed.

The role emphasizes merchandising, inventory control and operating a cash register in a busy retail environment. A high school diploma or GED and reliable availability on weekdays are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.

Responsibilities

• Complies with company guidelines for maximizing sales, profitability and customer service by ensuring all grocery deliveries are accurate, stocked, attractively displayed and priced correctly.
• Completes build-to’s for ordering/purchasing merchandise.
• Maintains inventory by checking in delivery, pricing items, stocking merchandise according to schematic.
• Deliveries are verified by invoices and discrepancies are reviewed with Store Manager.
• Prepares displays by assembling, dating and price marking in-store displays.
• Rotate food items, monitor quality and freshness measures.
• Monitor and maintain food preparation area and display cases.
• Assist training new associates with excellent customer service.
• Resolve routine customer concerns within guidelines.
• Prepare and serve quality food and beverages to satisfy customers.
