Job summary

Acosta Group, via Product Connections, seeks an Associate for in-store food and non-food demonstrations. You will learn products, engage shoppers, and demonstrate features, while maintaining a clean work area and professional appearance.

The role involves food samples using standard appliances and requires computer and system navigation for documentation and audits. The position is part-time, with up to 25 hours per week, and may include travel to client sites in a retail environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED, or related experience/training.
  • Proficient in using a PC or mobile device and internal systems.
  • Local Food handler permit may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Gain knowledge of products represented.
  • Intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers professionally.
  • Explain features and benefits of products clearly.
  • Prepare and serve food samples using appliances (microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, knives).
  • Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Set up and prepare the Event Table for execution.
  • Aim for 100% execution on assigned tasks.
  • Assist with client visits and audit corrections.
  • Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet objectives.
  • Complete expense reports per Company Policy.
  • Submit online requirements on the day of Event execution.
  • Access the Internet and company systems (Outlook, Word, PDF).
