Job summary

Acosta Group is seeking an associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations, learn products, and engage customers. The role includes maintaining event equipment, supporting the supervisor in their absence, and presenting product features clearly.

This is a part-time, on-site position in a retail environment. The candidate will prepare samples, ensure food safety, and contribute to client success stories while documenting event outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Proficient ability to use and navigate on a personal computer and personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Food Safety Professional Certification, Local Food handlers permit if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the equipment and supplies used for events to ensure they are clean and secured in the backroom area.
• Act as point of contact when Supervisor is absent and coordinate with store management for events.
• Lead and support the events team, ensuring product features and benefits are communicated.
• Prepare and serve food samples following safety guidelines and using small appliances.
• Complete all assigned tasks, prepare for client visits, and document setup and outcomes.
