CLS is seeking a dedicated In-State Relay Driver (CDL A) for a 3rd shift in Kalamazoo, MI. You will operate semi-tractor/trailer routes between CLS locations, unloading and loading products and ensuring accurate documentation.

A CDL-A license, clean driving record, and DOT medical card are required. The role offers daily home after shifts, opportunities to handle various vehicle types (box truck, semi-truck), and a path within a long-standing company providing uniforms, linen, and mat services

Qualifications

• CDL-A license and valid DOT card required.
• Experience in product distribution.
• Ability to operate CLS box or semi-truck.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Remove finished/packed products from behind equipment.
• Load/unload products in a timely manner.
• Document all loaded products and communicate discrepancies.
• Transport products to the CLS locations in Michigan.
• Organize finished/packed product upon drop off.
• Make multiple trips using a CLS box or semi-truck.
• Place products or bins in designated areas.

We are currently looking for a Shuttle Driver (CDL-A) based out of our Kalamazoo facility. This team member will operate a semi-tractor/trailer to bring product to and from our branch locations in Michigan. This is a 3rd shift position where the team member will be HOME EACH DAY FOLLOWING THEIR SHIFT! The successful candidate must work independently to unload and load the semi-trailer at branch locations. Must have a CDL-A license, a clean driving record, and a DOT Medical card.

Job Responsibilities:

• Remove finished/packaged products from behind equipment
• Load/unload products in a timely manner
• Document all loaded products and communicate discrepancies
• Transport products to the CLS locations in Michigan

Physical Requirements:

• Driving company vehicles (semi-truck, box truck, step van, mini-van)
• Climbing truck stairs
• Ability to push/pull industrial laundry carts weighing up to 500 lbs.
• Ability to lift 50 – 80 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to lift 15 – 30 lbs. repetitively
• Ability to operate a motorized pallet jack to move pallets full of finished/packaged product
• Obtain and maintain CDL-A License
• Obtain and maintain DOT Medical card
• Obtain and maintain a Forklift License
