Summary

Inshoppers are responsible for greeting customers when they enter and exit the restaurant, providing world‑class customer service and executing fast and accurate sandwiches while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Know your schedule, arrive on time or call your manager if you will be late.
• Make fast, accurate sandwiches while following safety precautions and complying with all portion sizes, recipes, and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant, including tables, floors, windows, beverage stations, and restrooms.
• Greets customers and takes orders.
• Operate the cash register—collect payment and make change without errors.
• Takes phone orders and completes delivery tickets.
• Fill out system and procedure punchlists with 100% accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times in compliance with the Jimmy John’s Dress Code.
• Display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
• Perform other related duties as requested.
• Display a sense of urgency in all tasks.

Skills & Abilities

• Communicate, read, and write in English fluently and clearly.
• Perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, repetitive motions, and lifting up to 50 lbs while standing and moving about the unit all day.

As an In‑Shop Team Member, you’ll be the face of our brand—welcoming customers as they walk in and out, ensuring each visit is fast, friendly, and memorable. You’ll help deliver the Jimmy John’s experience our customers love: real people serving incredible sandwiches, made right and served in 30 seconds or less.
