Jimmy John's in Alsip, IL is hiring an In‑Shop Team Member to provide world-class customer service and prepare fast, fresh sandwiches. You will greet customers, take orders, and ensure accuracy and sanitation across the store.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate, read, and write English fluently.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Know your schedule, arrive on time or call your manager before your scheduled arrival time.
• Makes fast, accurate sandwiches while following safety precautions.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurants including all tables, floors, windows, beverage stations, restrooms, etc.
• Greets customers and takes orders.
• Operates cash register – collects payment from customer and makes change without cash handling errors.
• Takes phone orders and completes delivery tickets.
• Fills out systems and procedures punchlists with 100% accuracy and integrity.
• Maintains professional appearance at all times in compliance with the Jimmy John's Dress Code.
• Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
• Displays a sense of urgency in all tasks.
