Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment in-shop and during roadside emergencies.
• Respond promptly to service calls and assess mechanical issues.
• Perform on-site repairs including electrical diagnostics, fuel system troubleshooting, and brake repairs.
• Maintain service vehicles, tools, and safety procedures.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers and document work performed.

World Truck Towing & Recovery, Inc. is actively hiring Diesel Service Technicians to support our growing 24/7 roadside service operations. We are seeking reliable, motivated individuals for full-time and part-time positions serving local and surrounding areas who are ready to build their future, not just work a job.

Roadside Diesel Service Technicians are responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment in-shop and during roadside emergencies. This includes responding promptly to service calls, assessing mechanical issues, and performing on-site repairs such as electrical diagnostics, fuel system troubleshooting, brake repairs, and minor mechanical work.

Technicians must operate service vehicles safely, maintain tools and equipment, and follow all safety procedures. The role requires strong communication with dispatch and customers, accurate documentation of work performed, and the ability to work efficiently in various weather and roadside conditions, including emergency and after-hours situations.

• Diesel repair experience (heavy-duty preferred)
• Good driving record (MVR) and insurable
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently in roadside conditions
