RS&H is currently seeking a senior-level In‑Service Bridge Inspector to join our Transportation team in the Novi, Michigan area. This position will assist the Project Manager with completion and execution of detailed bridge and culvert inspection and asset management programs. This opportunity has strong growth potential for the right candidate and could lead to Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager. This role works both in the field and office, planning and executing inspections, coordinating traffic control and equipment needs, documenting existing conditions, and preparing required inspection and scoping reports.
As a senior member of the inspection team, you will work independently while exercising advanced judgment in the application of standard bridge inspection methodologies, including developing innovative and practical solutions for complex or unique structural conditions. You will also serve as a technical resource and mentor to less experienced staff, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with federal and state requirements.
