Job summary

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking an in-room dining server to deliver exceptional service and ensure guest satisfaction in suites. You will take orders, present meals, and maintain elegant tray setups, while offering menu recommendations and accommodating dietary needs.

The role demands multitasking in a fast-paced environment, strict adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with culinary and front desk teams to coordinate guest requests smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Take and process guest orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to menu offerings and special requests.
• Deliver orders promptly and courteously, maintaining proper presentation and temperature of food and beverages.
• Set up and arrange in-room dining trays and tables with attention to detail and aesthetic appeal.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, including specials, wine pairings, and dietary accommodations.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and proactively address any concerns or preferences to enhance their dining experience.
• Coordinate with culinary team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the in-room dining and guest areas, including tray retrieval and setup of condiments and utensils.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with other resort departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to coordinate guest requests and preferences seamlessly.
