Job summary

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced strings instructor (violin and viola) to teach part-time in Louisville, KY in person. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach up to an advanced level.

Successful candidates will have a degree in music performance or education or equivalent, a love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Qualifications

• Degree in music performance, music education, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
• Love of teaching with experience working with young musicians.
• Punctuality, reliable transportation, ability to pass routine background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach violin and viola in-person part-time in Louisville, KY.
• Instruct up to advanced level where possible.
• Set availability within open hours; maintain consistency with students and school staff.
